| Welcome to Az Desert Dogs' home on the web. We are breeders of the American Pit Bull Terrier as well as the American Bully breed. We take pride in saying we are "One Of The Oldest" blue nose kennels in the state of Arizona. We are centrally located (85001) in the downtown Phoenix area. |
| Our foundation stock consists of Gottyline as well as Razors Edge bloodlines. Over the years we have created our own unique look, style, and temperament of what a dog should be. |
| * Our number one priority in a breeding is the TEMPERAMENT of the dog. In my opinion, I don't care how big a head or chest, or how much bone a dog may have, if the dog has a bad attitude/temperament, the liability (if the dog was to bite another dog or a person) will be unbelievable. This is the reason that the NUMBER ONE trait we look for in a dog prior to breeding them is to make sure they are friendly, easy going, and sound minded dogs. After that has been met to our satisfaction, we then look at the overall physical appearance of the dog, as well as pedigrees and offsprings they have produced. Here at Az Desert Dogs, we do all the work so you don't have to. All our dogs are showcased on our web-site with picture pedigrees so you can feel confident of the puppy you are buying. We understand that alot of the responsibility of the pups development falls in the hands of the new owners, we just want to help get you started in the right path. |
| * Second to that, we prefer our dogs to have width, low height, and heavy bone as possible. We also favor mass, and that the head be consistent with the rest of the body. |
| * Our dogs are registered with either The American Kennel Club (A.K.C.), United Kennel Club (U.K.C.) and we've also began the process of registering with the American Bully Kennel Club (A.B.K.C.). All our dogs are raised at home and in a family environment. My kids as well as myself work with our dogs on a daily bases. All are kid friendly and child approved! Our dogs make excellent Companions as well as Service, Protection and Show Ring, just to name a few. |
